Due to continued growth and expansion in the business, we are currently taking applications for Trade Assistant join our clients team in the Oil and Gas industry.
 

Details:

• Role – Trade Assistant
• Located: Karratha, WA
• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: Until end of 2025
• Roster: 2x1 (travel in on first & out on last day of swing)
• Hours per day: 10.5
• POH: Perth – however we will cover flights from any capital City in Australia
• Great rates paid $$$
• Superannuation paid on all worked hours

Scope of works:

• Construction (and construction verification) scopes, involves replacement of instrument cabling and glanding on a number of skids. This cabling is required to be replaced with compliant stranded cable.

Experience, skills and qualifications:

Essential:

• Previous experience in Oil & Gas, mining, or heavy industrial projects
• Construction White Card (General Construction Induction)
• Previous experience as a Trade Assistant or Labourer in construction or industrial environments
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Physically fit and able to work in hot, remote, and physically demanding environments
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to zero harm

Desirable:

• High Risk Work License (e.g., EWP, Forklift, Dogging, Rigging)
• Confined Space and Working at Heights certification
• Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude
