About The Role:
- Commissioning, testing and maintaining:
- HV Protections systems / schemes, experience with IEC61850 / GOOSE communications
- HV Substations secondary systems and primary plant
- HV/LV Plant/Assets
- Power Generation Systems
- Power Transformers.
- Provide leadership, supervision, technical support and training to technicians.
- Preparation of commissioning/testing documentation, protection test plans and create detailed technical reports on completion of works.
About You:
- Must hold "A Grade" (Fitter and Mechanic) Electrical Workers License.
- Engineering Degree or Diploma in Power Systems would be highly regarded.
- Minimum 10 years' experience.
- HV Switching Ticket preferred.
- Experience with IEC61850 and GOOSE messaging through IED Scout viewed favourably.
- Knowledge of appropriate Australian and International Standards.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
- Proven ability meeting project quality, schedule and budget requirements.
- Ability to promote a high standard of safety, professionalism and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience in using the Omicron suite of equipment for secondary system testing.
- Power Station experience viewed favourably.
