Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with a control systems background to join our Brisbane team. This is a permanent, full-time position where you’ll take the lead on electrical design while also applying your experience in control systems and automation.

About The Role:

• Lead FEED and Detailed Design for HV/LV systems (switchgear, protection, earthing, UPS, batteries).
• Deliver functional designs for control and automation systems – PLCs, RTUs, SCADA, and protection/control schemes.
• Prepare design packages, drawings, scopes, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with Australian standards and QA processes.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and graduates.
• Contribute to improving engineering processes and standards.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 6+ years’ experience.
• Chartered (CPEng) and RPEQ (or working towards).
• Strong background in electrical design for HV/LV projects.
• Solid experience in controls and automation (PLC/RTU/SCADA, comms, protocols like IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP3).
• Strong report writing and documentation skills.
• Experience leading small design teams and mentoring juniors.
