We have an exciting opportunity for EEHA Electrician to join Powertech on Oil and Gas Project.
Position Overview:
- Rate: $102.40/hr + Super paid on all hours worked (Flat Rate)
- Role: EEHA Electrician
- Start date: ASAP 2026
- Duration: 3 - 6 months
- Roster: 3x1
- Hours per day: (68 hour week)
- 10 hours per day Monday to Friday, unpaid 30 min lunch (6:30 am to 5:00pm)
- 10 hours per day Saturday, paid 30 min lunch (6:30 am to 4:30 pm)
- 8 hours per day on Sundays, paid 30 mins lunch (6:30 am to 2:30 pm)
- POH: Perth – however we will cover flights from any capital City in Australia
- Travel: Travel is in first and last day of swing, travel into Karratha on your first and out of Karratha on the last day of the swing.
- Up to 2 hours travel for Perth based, up to 8 hours travel interstate.
- You will be paid only the hours you work plus travel (as above) on first and last day.
- We will cover flights for interstate employees and assist with accommodation as required.
Scope of Work:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and instrumentation in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and standards (IEC, NEC, API, or company-specific).
- Perform wiring, termination, and testing of electrical cables, control panels, motors, and lighting systems.
- Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain instrumentation devices (pressure, temperature, level, flow sensors, etc.).
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment, including MCCs (Motor Control Centers), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and switchgear.
- Ensure all work complies with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and project-specific safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance, testing, and inspection activities.
- Participate in inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards or system deficiencies.
- Collaborate with other disciplines (mechanical, civil, instrumentation) to support project execution and timely completion.
About You:
- WA – Unrestricted Electrical Licence (A-Grade)
- EEHA certification
- Trade Certificate
- CPR / LVR certificates
- Cert III or IV Instrumentation -desirable
- First Aid
