We have an exciting opportunity for a E&I Commissioning Supervisor to join Powertech on a Cemented Paste Fill (CPF) plant Project.
Position Overview:
Super paid on all hours worked & great $$$ rates paid
- Role: E&I Commissioning Supervisor
- Roster: 8/6
- Hours: 12 hours per day
- Duration: 8+ months, possible extension to support handover team
- Start Date: Early Feb 2026
- Location: South Australia - we will cover flights from any major capital in Australia
Scope of Work:
- Support commissioning planning, including preparing commissioning work packs and procedures to enable field technicians to execute commissioning activities safely and effectively.
- Lead daily pre-start meetings and toolbox talks for commissioning crews, outlining scope, safety requirements and priorities.
- Coordinate day-to-day commissioning activities, ensuring resources, equipment and permits are in place.
- Supervisor contractors, vendors and multidisciplinary teams working on commissioning tasks.
- Oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning activities including subsystem energisation, loop checks, functional testing and system start-ups.
- Review and sign off commissioning ITRs, test procedures, and manage punch list items.
- Liaise with construction supervisors and review subsystem commissioning readiness via inspection and walkdown.
- Monitor progress against commissioning schedule and escalate delays or issues as required.
- Enforce site safety standards and ensure all commissioning works comply with HSE requirements
About You:
- Current South Australian Electrical License (A‑Grade), or an interstate Electrical Licence eligible for recognition under South Australia’s Mutual Recognition Notification.
- Strong trade background in Electrical, Instrumentation and Control (EIC) with minimum 10 years of experience.
- Hands-on experience in commissioning planning and execution for complex processing plants.
- Demonstrated experience leading and supervising field teams and ensuring safe commissioning execution.
