We have an exciting opportunity for a E&I Commissioning Technician to join Powertech on an Iron Ore Project.
Position Overview:
- Roster: 20 days on : 8 days off
- Start Date: Early April 2026
- Hours: 10.5hrs/ day (1x half day per swing required)
- Rate: $105/hr + Super paid on all hours worked (Day shift)
- Rate: $120.75/hr + Super paid on all hours worked (Night shift)
- PIP: Additional $2.20 Per Hour project Incentive Payment for duration
- Duration: August/September, with a possibility to extend.
- Location: Pilbara
- POH: Perth, but will be covered flights from any major capital in Australia to Perth
Scope of Work:
- Perform instrument loop checking from field instruments to control systems (PLC/DCS/ESD/F&G).
- Verify correct installation, wiring, tubing, tagging, and grounding of field instruments.
- Calibrate pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments (transmitters, switches, gauges).
- Conduct functional testing of control valves, on/off valves, MOVs, and actuators.
- Troubleshoot loop discrepancies, signal issues, and field wiring problems.
About You:
- WA – Unrestricted Electrical Licence (A-Grade)
- Cert III or IV Instrumentation
- Trade Certificate
- CPR / LVR certificates
- First Aid
- Confined space OR Demonstrate first attack firefighting equipment
