Due to continued growth, particularly in the BESS EPC space and servicing a number of clients in different industries with differing requirements, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join Powertech supporting our Brisbane office on a Full-Time Permanent Basis.

About The Role: 

• Lead, manage and successfully deliver assigned EPC projects (including R&D projects) on time, on budget and to the highest quality standards.  
• Develop and maintain the project management quality framework, training materials, and lead the project management functional area/circle.  
• Lead multidisciplinary teams (project managers, construction managers, engineers, tradesmen) to achieve outstanding project outcomes.  
• Ensure compliance with scope, technical/performance specifications, HSE, QA/QC and ISO standards.  
• Oversee project planning, resource allocation, risk management, change control (variations/ECP), design reviews, stakeholder communication, client relationships and accurate reporting.  
• Take full financial accountability of EPC projects, including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, receivables follow-up and cost optimisation.  
• Provide inspiring leadership, technical guidance and quality assurance across projects.  
• Maintain governance for safety, quality and resource utilisation across the business.  
• Comply with all company and client HSE and Quality policies and procedures. 

About You: 

• 5+ years’ Project management experience, leading technical teams. 
• Proven experience in managing projects >$5M 
• Strong project management fundamentals. 
• Strong technical experience on complex electrical projects. 
• Sound project finance and commercial understanding. 
• Ability to work within budgets and schedules. 
• Proficient in planning and executing complex EPC Projects. 
• Skilled in resolving technical issues and leading teams effectively. 
• Experienced in estimating/variation management. 
• Ensure project deliverables meet technical standards. 
• Good understanding of HSE requirements, Quality Systems, and legislation. 
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills. 

Qualifications: 

• Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering 
• RPEQ Preferred 
• CPPM or PMP preferred 
• Degree/Diploma of Project Management or Business.  
• Leadership Training  
• Finance Training
