Position Overview:
Super paid on all hours worked & great $$$ rates paid
- Role: E&I Technician
- Roster: Various roster patterns available
- Hours: 10-12 hours/ day depending on the projects
- Duration: Ranging from Several days to several weeks
- Start Date: Immediate and ongoing opportunities
- Location: East Coast Australia
Scope of Work:
- EEHA (Hazardous Area) inspections
- LV / ELV electrical installations
- Critical function testing, including Fire & Gas systems
- Instrument loop checks and function testing
- Instrumentation commissioning
- Instrument tubing installation, fitting and repairs (Swagelok)
- Maintenance and calibration of flow, pressure, vibration, temperature, analytical, level and position instrumentation
- Field calibrations and valve stroking
- High-level fault finding and troubleshooting
- Working with SCADA, PLC and Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
- Process control instrumentation and metering skid maintenance
About You:
- Unrestricted Queensland Electrical Work Licence
- Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation
- Minimum 4 years' experience as an E&I Technician
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and team members
- Certificate IV in EEHA (Hazardous Areas)
