Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Calibration Technician to join Powertech, supporting our Brisbane Office, on a Full-Time Permanent basis.

About The Role:
Traveling to remote and overseas locations to perform onsite calibrations and repairs as needed by the business is a requirement of this role.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform calibrations within the calibration laboratory's capability on electrical, pressure, torque, temperature, LV/HV PPE, mechanical and dimensional equipment.
- Follow the procedures set down in the Calibration Manual and as set out in ISO 17025 to maintain a high-quality control within the calibration laboratory.
- Accurate generation of calibration reports and certifications.
- Development and maintenance of testing procedures, capabilities, and equipment.
- Willingness to travel to remote and overseas locations to perform onsite calibration and repairs as required by the business.
- Maintaining calibration procedures and work instructions.
- Handling client queries.
- Preparation of quotations for equipment calibration and repair.
- Liaise with customers regarding the status of customer jobs.
- Other technical and administrative duties as required.
- Work in a team environment.
About You:
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience within a calibration laboratory with the following equipment types:
- Electrical equipment/LV/HV PPE Testing
- Electronic repairs
- Temperature/Pressure equipment
- Torque, mechanical and dimensional equipment
- Strong knowledge of electronics and/or measurement techniques.
- Experience writing procedures and work instructions.
- Experience writing uncertainty budgets and/or calculating uncertainty.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
