We have an exciting opportunity for I&C Commissioning Technician’s to join Powertech on a Renewable Hydrogen Project.
Position Overview:
- Role: I&C Commissioning Technician’s
- Start date: Either 03/11/2025 or 10/11/2025
- Duration: At least until March 2026 possibility to extend well past this
- Roster: 2x1
- Hours per day: 10.5
- Rate: $88.00/hr + super on all hours worked
- Site is shutdown over Christmas and New Year - 22nd Dec to 6th Jan
- Point of Hire: Perth, however we will cover flights from any major capital in Australia
Scope of Work:
- Perform loop checks, instrument calibration, and functional testing of field instruments (pressure, flow, level, temperature, analytical sensors, etc.).
- Conduct I/O testing between field devices, control panels, PLCs, and the Distributed Control System (DCS).
- Assist in commissioning of control systems for hydrogen electrolyzers, compressors, storage, and water treatment units.
- Participate in logic verification, sequence testing, and tuning of control loops.
- Support FAT, SAT, and integrated system testing with vendors and EPC contractors.
About You:
- WA – Unrestricted Electrical Licence (A-Grade)– Requirement
- Hazardous Area - Requirement
- Cert III or IV Instrumentation – Requirement
- Trade Certificate – Requirement
- CPR / LVR certificates – Requirement
- First Aid – Desirable
- Previous Hydrogen project exposure desirable, but not essential
